  Selous Game Reserve

  You are picked by our guide either at Dar es Salaam airport or from your hotel for safari briefing and then immediately drive south to Selous Game Reserve which is approximately five hours drive from Dar es Salaam depending on the road conditions. On arrival you start with an afternoon boat Safari in Rufiji Riveror. Overnight at Lodge or Tented Camp on Full Board.

  Selous Game Reserve

  Start the day with morning game drives with packed lunch boxes you explore more of selous game reserve with your picnic lunch in the site your guide will select for you and you continue with afternoon game drives and then return back to Lodge or Tented Camp for overnight on Full Board.

  Selous Game reserve and Mikumi National Park

  Start the day with very early morning game drives as you drive out of Selous game Reserve heading to Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes for your picnic Lunch and on arrival in Mikumi you will do afternoon game drives with overnight at Lodge or Tented Camp on Full Board. Selous Game Reserve covers 5% of Tanzania’s total land area and is approximately 45,000sq km. Selous is Africa’s largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania’s most extensive protected area. Selous provides shelter of large numbers of elephants, big populations of buffaloes, wild dogs, lions, crocodiles and hippos in the mighty Rufiji River, also has a rich variety of birdlife and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos The reserve is named after the one of the famous British Explorer Frederick Courteney Selous who was killed in the reserve during WWI.

  Mikumi National Park

  After breakfast go for morning game drives in Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes. You will relax after lunch in your picnic site before going for afternoon game drives with overnight at Lodge or Tented Camp in Mikumi on Full Board. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq. km its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few.

  Mikumi National Park and Dar es Salaam

  After breakfast you relax a bit at Lodge or Tented Camp and then you drive back Dar es Salaam with packed lunch. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped at the airport to connect with your flight to Zanzibar or to your Hotel or at the airport for your outbound flight to your next destination.
